The hotel was built in 1840 and since then it has been part of the history of this wonderful town, unique in the world, which is Chamonix Mont Blanc. It is right in the centre of Chamonix and just a short walk from the ski lifts, the Aiguille du Midi and La Mer de Glace. My latest renovation took place in 2019. The hotel has 30 double or twin rooms, including 3 Suites, with a refined, warm décor and light, bright wood panelling. The wellness centre overlooks the garden and the river, and has an indoor pool with counter-current swimming and water jets, as well as a large Jacuzzi next door. The salt wall is located next to the massage and beauty treatment cabin.

*There is no restaurant in the hotel because it is located in the pedestrian street in the heart of the city, with the possibility of discovering a different restaurant every evening. On the menu: a Savoyard evening with fondue, raclette, tartiflette and other regional specialities; a gastronomic outing to discover the finesse of French cuisine; a ‘Bella Italia’ evening with all the gourmet specialities of Italian cuisine, not forgetting the delicious pizzas; an evening in Japan with a sushi tasting, and why not try Indian specialities… The hotel concierge will take care of booking a table.

*The bar is the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes, with a good book, family games or listening to music.
